FROM THE
STUDIO
February 2007.

After talking with a potential client about a
breakfast table to go in a Craftsman style
house, I pulled out a huge stack of books
for ideas.  Found a wonderful trestle table
in a book of Shaker furniture.  It has more
curves than a typical Shaker piece, and I
think it may fit well in the room.

New Years Resolution:  clean up the studio.
(Also the resolution in 2006, 2005...)
What to do with all the small "cut-off"
pieces of wood left from making large
furniture pieces?  Can't stand to discard
them, seems a shame to burn them in a
fireplace.  How about using them for a
series of small frames that will hold
photographs or mirrors?  Yep, that'll work!
